Safety & Permissions

Your permissions remain under your control. Love360 asks only when a feature needs access. Denying a permission may limit that feature but should not prevent you from reading this policy or requesting support.

Location

Purpose: calculate the distance between two knowingly paired partners and show that distance in the app or supported widgets. Love360 does not use location to serve ads and does not provide public maps or public profiles.

Current Android behavior: the beta requests approximate or precise foreground location. It does not currently declare Android background-location permission. Widget updates depend on a recent permitted location update and operating-system scheduling. If a future build adds background location, Love360 will show a clear in-app disclosure before the system prompt and request separate consent.

Control: change access at any time in iOS Settings or Android Settings. When disabled, distance may be unavailable or stale. A paired partner may infer your general proximity from the displayed distance.

Photos and media

Photo-library or media access is used only when you choose a photo for an avatar, memory or partner share. Prefer the system photo picker when available. Content you send can be viewed or captured by your paired partner.

Notifications

Notifications may alert you to partner activity, drawings, answers, reminders or account information. You can disable them in device settings. Critical legal or account notices may still be sent by email when applicable.

Battery and widget status

Love360 may process battery percentage and charging status so a paired partner can see the battery widget. This is not a device-diagnostic or battery-control feature. Widget refresh timing is controlled partly by iOS or Android.

Camera and microphone

The current core feature set described on this website does not require continuous camera or microphone access. If a future feature requests either permission, the app will explain the feature at the time of request.

Safe use

  • Pair only with someone you know and trust.
  • Never pressure a partner to enable location or share content.
  • Revoke a permission or unpair if you feel unsafe.
  • Do not rely on Love360 for emergencies or real-time personal safety.
